Before you close
Three things to handle before you close the account.
- Clear the wallet. Withdraw any balance first. A closed account cannot process withdrawal.
- Clear the bonus. Bonus credits expire on account closure. Either play through or forfeit before closing.
- Save your team data. The platform usually deletes teams after closure. Screenshot your best teams if you want a record.

The deletion steps
- In the app: Settings → Account → Close account.
- Confirm the reason for closure. Honest reasons help platforms improve.
- Confirm with an OTP and a password re-entry.
- Most operators run a 7-15 day cooling-off window before permanent deletion.
What is retained and for how long
The operator retains KYC records and transaction logs for the regulatory minimum period (typically 5-7 years under PMLA rules). Personal profile data is deleted on closure. Marketing communication preferences are deleted; transaction records stay.
When automated closure stalls
If the closure flow does not appear in the app, contact customer care via email with subject "Account closure request". Include the registered email, registered phone, and a one-line confirmation. The platform usually closes the account within 7 business days.

Extended account-closure playbook
Account closure is a clean way to exit a fantasy cricket platform when the responsible-play tools are not enough. The closure flow is permanent; reopen is usually not possible. The flow should be planned rather than reactive: clear the wallet, clear the bonus, save team data, then close.
Clear the wallet
Withdraw any balance first. A closed account cannot process withdrawal. The withdrawal goes through the regular flow; the closure should wait until the withdrawal settles. Most operators flag the wallet balance at closure as forfeit.
Clear the bonus
Bonus credits expire on account closure. Either play through the bonus before closure, or accept the forfeit. The play-through takes days or weeks depending on the bonus type and the player's contest volume. A bonus forfeiture is small in absolute terms (usually a single-digit percentage of the bonus) but a clean exit is the right disposition.
Save team data
The platform usually deletes teams after closure. Screenshot the best teams if you want a record. The operator may also delete historical contest data; a screenshot is the only insurance.
The closure flow
Most operators run a four-step closure: open the closure flow in the app, confirm the reason for closure, confirm with OTP and password re-entry, observe the 7-15 day cooling-off window. The cooling-off window is reversible; the closure is permanent after the window closes.
What is retained
KYC documents are retained for the regulatory minimum period (typically 5-7 years). Other profile data is deleted on closure. Transaction records stay. Marketing communication preferences are deleted. The operator's data-retention policy is in the Terms of Service.
Closure vs self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is a temporary closure (6 months, 1 year, or longer). Self-exclusion removes deposit and contest access for the period; the account reactivates at the end of the period. Closure is permanent. Use self-exclusion when you want a hard reset; use closure when the responsible-play tools are not enough.
Closure on a shared device
Closure on a shared device is the same as login on a shared device. Use a private browser window, do not save the password, sign out completely when you finish. If the device left your control, change the password as soon as you are back on a trusted device; the closure flow is a single-action confirmation and does not require a session.
Closure vs retention
Operators sometimes offer a retention bonus or a reactivation offer to a player who initiates a closure flow. The retention offer is a marketing instrument, not a regulated contract; you can accept or decline it. The right answer depends on your reason for closure: if the closure is about responsible play, decline and continue with the closure; if the closure is about a specific platform issue, accept and continue with the closure after the bonus clears.
Long-term account discipline
Long-term players keep their account status current. The current status is either active, paused (via self-exclusion or operator-imposed limit), or closed. A stale status is a yellow flag in the operator's fraud-detection flow; the next interaction (deposit, withdrawal, support ticket) will see the stale status.
