Bonus as a budget boundary

A welcome bonus is a marketing instrument with three legs: percentage, cap, and play-through. The legs interact. A 100%-up-to-₹5,000 bonus with a 3x play-through is not a ₹5,000 bonus; it is a ₹1,666 bonus at the worst-case contest-completion rate (because the play-through must clear before withdrawal). A 50%-up-to-₹1,000 bonus with a 1x play-through is closer to a flat ₹1,000 transfer in the best case. Read the three legs and compute the effective value at your expected deposit and contest volume.
The four bonus archetypes

Contest restrictions
Some bonuses can only be used on specific contest types (e.g. Mega only, not Head-to-Head). Long-term bonus math
Long-term players treat the bonus as a small value-add rather than a headline feature. The expected value of a bonus at typical completion rates is 60-85% of the headline percentage. Discount the headline accordingly. A 100% bonus with a 3x play-through and a 65% completion rate behaves like a 65% bonus at 100% completion with a 0x play-through.
